Seventeen: If you five were a family, who would be in what role?
Ohno: (Immediately answers) Aiba-chan would be the mommy, Sho-kun would be daddy, Nino would be the older brother, Matsujun would be the little brother, and I...wouldn't be included.
Everyone: WHAT?!?!?
Ohno: Well then...I'd be the grandpa.
Sakurai: I think Matsujun would be the little brother, just like me.
Matsumoto: Aiba-kun is very motherly.
Aiba: Well, I guess I'm the mother.
Seventeen: Would Nino fill the position of the oldest son?
Ninomiya: I guess. Well, it's fine.
Matsumoto: Why am I the little brother?
Sakurai: Because you're just so little brother-like.
Ninomiya: Because you always emphasize the fact that you are the youngest.
Seventeen: Then, if you were all girls, which member would you go out with?
Sakurai: What a hard question!
Ohno: Aiba-kun. (Another immediate answer) Because he's very big brother-like.
Sakurai: Didn't you just say earlier that he was the "mother"?!
Ninomiya: Yeah, gramps! Did you get Alzheimer's already?!
Ohno: Well, it's because I sorta get a feeling that I can depend on him.
Aiba: As for me...I'd pick Sho-kun! Because he's cool!
Sakurai: So random! (Laughs)
Aiba: 'Cause he gives off a big brotherly feeling too♡!
Ninomiya: I'd probably date Aiba-chan, too. Because it's fun to be around him.
Matsumoto: I'd pick Ohno-kun. Because I never get tired of being around him.
Sakurai: I'd probably pick...Aiba-kun.
Aiba: Yay!! Mutual Love♡
Sakurai: He's dependable in carefree way, you know? And also sensitive in a casual way. (1)
Seventeen: Aiba-chan, how do you feel about being called, "dependable?"
Aiba: .........
Sakurai: They're asking you a question! This guy really never pays attentions when people are talking to him!
Aiba: But, (Laughs) it's something that I'm trying to fix!
Matsumoto: Well then, pay attention more! Participate in the conversation!
Seventeen: Let's go onto the next question! If you were to get a girlfriend, which is better; someone older or someone younger?
Matsumoto: Someone older, probably...
Aiba: That's probably good. (Immediately starts participating in the conversation.)
Seventeen: Why does Aiba-chan think someone older is better?
Aiba: ........
Sakurai: He just said that randomly, so now he's troubled because he can't explain why! (Cries).
Seventeen: But really, which is better; someone older or someone younger?
Aiba: .......someone the same age.
Ninomiya: Hold on, they gave you two choices, Aiba-san. (2)
Aiba: Well...if I marry I think it would be great if we were both the same age.
Sakurai: See what I mean? (Cries)

NOTES:
(1) Ugh, this is one of the hardest words to really convey in english. Basically, Sho is saying that although Aiba's really carefree and really 'whatever' about stuff he still is dependable and sensitive to others but he's dependable and sensitive in i very happy/carefree Aiba way.
(2) Ok, a bit now on all the prefixes after the names. If you know already you can skip this but this is for those who have no japanese background whatsoever.
-chan: can be used by people to address little children, good friends, or someone they want to belittle. Most of the time Arashi uses -chan to indicate fondness.
-kun: used between peers, more formal than -chan. Notice how everyone calles Ohno "-kun" rather than "-chan" because they're being more polite to him because of his age.
-san: the most polite ending, used for anyone you want to be formal with and to people older than you that you're not overly close to. Now, another use for this is to show sarcasm/make fun of someone by being overly polite, and this is what Nino does because Aiba is so stupid, hahahahah.

Ummm, if you're getting boxes with x's in them after "MUTUAL LOVE" then i'm really sorry, it's supposed to be a heart but it's not showing up properly on some people's browsers. m(_ _)m sorry;;;

Comments: AHAHAHAHHAHAHAH. Aiba is the stupidest person ever and I love hims so much he's almost too cute! Hahahahahaha. I can't even stop laughing. They weren't lying when they said that when the five of them get together then it causes explosive laughter! Holy crap, there are 4 more parts to this, including OhmiyaSK talk! ahahaha bless to Aiba...he seems to have no clue what'S going on most of the time, and yet Ohno, Nino and Sho all chose him as their boyfriend hehehe strange biscuits...

I know, the best part is that books makes certain phrases larger than the rest so I made sure to reflect that in my translation because come on, larger text = funnier.

The article is so random. I love sho's *cries* and nino picking on people. Where is Ohno at? He says his little two-cents about wanting aiba to be the mother, but also his boyfriend and then he is out of the conversation.
So much love for Aiba, 3 out of 5 is pretty good.

I'm low on the Arashi chronicles (fan mostly from this year) so can anyone tell me more about his pneumonia-thing (or whatever it was?) from before? He mentioned it in the 24 jikan letter last year and I'd like to know more about it. I know, stupid question but like I said I'm late to the Arashi party, sorry! Even a poke in a direction to a site that mentions it is fine. Meanwhile, I'll go back to laughing my ass off at his current blurness....
